Peter Fitchett is a photographer based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Married for 27 years, and father to twin boys, he is a music teacher by profession.
He is recognised as having natural photographic skills, and in November 2012 was awarded Manchester Cathedral's Peoples Choice Award for his picture "Let There Be Light". He is often seen around with his camera, regularly taking photographs for pleasure, church activities, school proms, and weddings.
He is also photographer the tribute act Maet Live and the Never Neverland Express, starring Craig Halford (Winner of Stars in Their Eyes), and is often seen at their acts all over the North of England. He is officially classed as one of their "Maets" for all the photos that he has taken for them.
Since the tragic death of his son Ben by suicide aged 14 in 2013, he has used his photography to help raise funds for the charity Papyrus Prevention of Young Suicide
